Community Music Night
Grassroots Community Center hosts a monthly music night and everyone is invited; family friendly and free. The regular group of musicians, The Rural Roots, invite other musicians to join them and have played with talented folks from other eastern plains communities as well as Denver, Lyons, Golden and Fort Collins.
Grassroots has hosted several 'Cornstalk' concerts in the park featuring the The Rural Roots, along with other Colorado bands from Wray (Whiskey Waltz), Denver (The Babysitters, ALLans ALLey, Greeley (Zach Boddiker), Fort Collins (Jimbo Darville and the Truckdours) and Nashville (Rod Black).
Grassroots collaborated with The Colorado Music Strategy on the Detour project where the Flobots and 2MX2 came to Liberty School and the community center for song sharing workshops.
