Grassroots teamed up with the bARTer Collective to collect written and audio stories from people on the plains. Often times people think of Colorado as a mountain state even though most of the state is high plains. Denver is even known as Queen City of the Plains. We wanted to highlight the neglected plains landscape by talking to people from Joes, Sterling, Genoa, Loveland and Denver about life on the prairie.
